Typography Tuesdays – Proto-Type Typeface

Proto-Type Typeface [social_warfare]

Proto-Type Typeface

Proto-Type Font concept by Noel Ramos

Objective:

“Develop a deep understanding in typography by developing a typeface over something that interests you personally.”

Solution:

“With my obsession for structured and geometric design, I felt the absolute answer to this assignment was to create an alphabet based on mechanical objects. I empowered this concept by adding a blueprint aesthetic. Zoomed out you will see each letterform and its structure implying motion, but zoomed in you can see each letter has unique characteristics; whether it be a power supply, spring, gear, electrical output, or just some simple screws.”
